Born in Tampa, Emily attended Wharton High School. There she was recognized as the National Honor Society Secretary, Captain of the varsity swim team, Sophomore and Junior Class Council Secretary, Fashion Editor for Predator Newspaper, a member of LSA Theatre and a member of Beta Club. Tampa may best recognize Emily Bootcheck with her involvement with Younglife and St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Emily Bootcheck began her Gator Growl and Homecoming careers as a staff member for the Homecoming Parade in 2007. She later moved on to serve as a staff member of Soulfest in 2008. Emily has also been involved on campus as Chi Omega Secretary 2009-2010, Dance Marathon Hospitality Captain 2009, Greek Week All-Sing Director 2009 and Panhellenic Awards Assistant Director 2009.

After graduation, Emily plans to work for a major hotel corporation. Emily’s hobbies include swimming, scrapbooking, going to the beach and singing karaoke.
